PHILADELPHIA, Pa. –Michelle Powers again provided the offensive spark with a team-high 22 kills as West Chester remained undefeated on the season with a 3-1 victory over tournament host Holy Family in Philadelphia Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams (3-0) stayed unbeaten on the season and are the only undefeated team left in the round-robin volleyball tournament being held at Holy Family College this weekend.
Lacie Becher chipped in 15 kills, and Lisa Yeasted posted 60 assists in the four-game match as the Golden Rams won 30-23, 30-20, 30-32, 30-16.
Jackqueline Vivanco led the team with 28 digs, defensively. Kristen Decker added 24 digs and 13 kills in a nice all-around effort. Ashley Zech finished with 19 digs.
West Chester will face Philadelphia University this evening at 5 p.m. in the final match of the tournament.
